For sale is a 2006 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top designed by Gibson.  Plus Tops are famous for their amazingly beautiful flamed maple tops (on the solid mahogany body that Les Pauls are known for).   This color is Honeyburst,also refered to as tea-finish. This is a beautiful guitar. The Grover tuners are the only tuners to have for that authentic look of a Les Paul, and this one’s got ‘em.  If you’ve never played a Les Paul, I can tell you that from thick and smooth jazz and blues tones to screaming rock-god licks, it’s no mistake that the Les Paul is THE rock guitar.

 This particular guitar is in very good condition, It Was bought in Novemberof 2008, from a local music center.Its original retail was $998. but it had gotten a knick in the headstocks the necks end ,as it was on display (see piks) So it was sold to me at a discount. I paid $560.+tax total cost was right at $600. So although it was a new guitar,they had to sell it to me as a used or B-stock guitar. So they didnt have to give me the Full Warranty that you normally got with a Brand-new guitar.Also I need to mention that, before i was to take pictures to place it for sale on Ebay. I needed to de-dust and wipe it down, So i had sprayed some windex on a paper towel to remove some dust on the headstock and truss rod cover & the windex removed the lettering that said Les Paul Standard. It can still be seen but not real good.  Honestly, it’s in very good condition.

A very nice and clean Amp it looks the same as it did the day i took it out of the box.

Epiphone  Serial # Guitar -identification Method

Most regular production models since ca. 1993. Many '80s and early '90s serial numbers may follow a similar scheme,

but may not include a factory ID code.
FYYMMRRRR
F= Factory code (this can be 2 letters as well)
YY= year of manufacture (this can also be just 1 digit for '90s models)
MM= month of manufacture
R= ranking number (may be more or less digits, not necessarily indicative of total units produced)
Example - S02021234 was issued in Feb. 2002.

Another code used on some current Epiphone models

F= Factory code
YY=Year of manufacture
M= This will be a letter code corresponding to the month (A=January, B=February, etc...)
RRRR= ranking number
